PETALING JAYA: Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd’s (FBG) indirect subsidiary Fajarbaru Real Development Sdn Bhd (FRDSB) has entered into an agreement with Datin Koh Hui Min to acquire 243 vacant plots of freehold land in Kuala Nal in Kuala Krai, Kelantan, for RM16.5mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the developer said the total provisional land area of the target acquisition is about 94,595sqm.
It said the types of land comprise 96 vacant semi-detached plots with development order, 143 vacant terrace plots with development orders, two vacant residential plots and two vacant agriculture plot.
The acquisition is expected to be completed within five months from the date of the sale and purchase agreement.,

According to the filing, Fajarbaru Real Development intends to fund the acquisition through its paid up working capital and bank borrowings.
“The acquisition is in line with FBG’s objective to focus on acquiring potential landbank for property development.
“FBG is exploring the expansion of its business opportunities in Kelantan. The development to be undertaken on the acquired land is expected to enhance FBG’s future revenue and earnings,” it said.
The acquisition is deemed to be a related party transaction as the vendor is the wife and the mother of directors and indirect shareholders of Fajarbaru Real Development.
